My current quest is to complete the 700 mile run I started earlier this summer. I did the Badwater Ultra-Marathon from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney (135 miles). I then ran the John Muir Trail from Mt Whitney to Yosemite (215 miles). I was to return by the same route but due to hazardous conditions postponed the return on the J.M.T. I did return to Mt. Whitney and ran from there back to Death Valley. Now I must return to Yosemite to run from there to Mt. Whitney on the J.M.T. to complete my 700 mile goal and commitment to my sponsors.

As I prepared to complete my running project hurricane Katrina destroyed the coastal cities of Louisiana and Mississippi making thousands homeless. This makes my project even more urgent in my quest to raise funds to help youth. All donations made from this point will go directly to aiding youth in the hurricane affected areas.
